Circle d'Ants

I had been watching these tiny ants following an invisible trail that came in under the window sill, across the floor, under some floor boards, up the cupboard leg, in a crack at the bottom and back out another crack at the top where they would fan out until they found the sugar bowl. When I saw them circling around a spilled droplet of sugary tea I knew that it would make a cool photo. I brought in a fallen leaf and spent the next several hours making droplets of sugar water and waiting for them to form into another perfect circle.
