Blacktail Deer in Snowstorm

As the snow deepens a young Black-tailed Deer stoically evaluates his situation: It is cold, wet and unsheltered here, but that kid with the camera has apples in his pocket. The snow continues to fall, I continue to throw apples and my fingers continue to freeze until my battery is fully depleted. We both go on our way, he with a full stomach and I with a full memory card.
