Shrouded by a thick morning fog, these century old fir trees provide essential habitat for a plethora of species. As prices soar well into four digits for each tree, much of British Columbia's remaining old growth forest habitat is being systematically devastated for the profit of private logging companies. Once a thriving seaport, most of Mansons Landing has been given back to the trees in the form of Mansons Landing Provincial park.
